This edition introduces the project’s objectives and expected impact, highlighting how MARCONNECT aims to strengthen European maritime situational awareness through secure and voluntary data sharing from civilian vessels.
The newsletter also covers key project activities, including the kick-off meeting in Bucharest, MARCONNECT’s participation in MASS2026 and the Projects to Policy Seminar, the second Plenary Meeting in Lisbon, and emerging synergies with the VIGIMARE and CROSSMARE projects.
MARCONNECT brings together 13 partners from 8 countries to develop a secure, interoperable and scalable Vessel-Connected Services ecosystem that supports stronger cross-border cooperation, improved maritime monitoring and safer European seas.
